A little something about the Saucy Lady...
I started making jewelry when the dinosaurs still roamed the earth -- maybe not, but I am entering the seventeenth year designing and making my own jewelry and beads. It started out quite innocently, and has turned into something that exceeds my wildest expectations -- the fact that you are on my site reading this being the ultimate proof.

I was inspired by my mother Marcy and my Aunt Barb, who are the most influential women in my life. My mother was forever making everything (clothes, drapes, dolls, the best pumpkin cookies on the planet) and so I grew up thinking if I wanted to do something, or make something, I could. And when you're 12, it really is just that simple. Then there is my Aunt. There aren't words for the gifts she's given me, but the most important is the gift of personal style. To this day she has the most unique and unusual style, which has given me boundless ideas eve now when I don't see her as often as I'd like.

For me, making shiny baubles started on the couch, keeping me busy while I watched movies, making things for myself, for friends, co-workers, and anyone that was interested. Then it progressed to festivals and home parties. Now I am starting my fourth Festival Season, and while this is not my full time job, it is where my passion goes, and I love every second of it!

I get very attached to my creations, but the knowledge that each piece is going to a good home and will make some special person feel beautiful makes it all worthwhile. Festivals and home shows especially make me feel this way, since I can talk to my customers and do custom orders on the spot. I try not to follow any particular style, just aim for something that is a bit on the wild side with lots of sparkle!
